alrights...im finally back after so long...

whao...last week was a disaster! had travel & leisure first class test on mon and i thinki screwed it! i wasn't prepared for that, i guess... i did not expect EXAMPLES to come out, so yup, MCQ is gonna fail.... ok, let's not discuss it here...

tues KSCC. finally saw vincent again. he forgotten some of our names. but he remembered Jingyi's. haha. not a surprise. anyway, Judith and I interviewed a real candidate!! uhooo... good thing Judith was with me. or else... anywya, our candidate is a nice guy (but married though). well, im sure JingYi was frustrated why her candidate was not a bit like ours. hee.. oh ya! next tues no KSCC!! yay! but Jia Hui, Judith and I are going down to Tampines Branch to interview the consultants there. this is part of our group project. the rest, Jerline, JingYi and Valerie will be the presenters for our report. *whew* my reaction was fast enough, or else i would end up being the presenter.
p.s. presenter has to present in front of 60 plus people in the LT when we come together as a whole batch for our 'graduation ceremony' for KSCC (will be receiving certs that day).

wed, had club & resort class test, i suppose it was manageable. However, it was not as easy as what Mr pang said -"close one eye also can pass with 80 marks and above". ok, he better forget what he'd said. im sure no one wants to walk ard in tp with a plastic bag over our heads...

i find fri's hr tut was the most effective tut ever (for this sem). haha.. last week was 'ghost telling' throughout the 2 hr, so it was....you know..

anyway, members from all other gp in my class who are doing EA came together as a 'gp' and called for meetings! haha..how cute... we were complaining, cracking our heads, drawing and scribbling on pieces of papers to figure out the stupid Bob Tan's case..finally, we came to a conclusion - we need Mrs. Tong's help. so we called for her, and she was startled. she thought we were all so 'innovative' as she did not expect us to be so automatic in forming a discussion session ourselves. so when she was flooded by our questions, she told us one sentence that made us all faint! i.e. "you don't have to compute. you just have to state why, and support our explainations" all this while, we were trying to compute Bob Tan's notice period, hospitalization and annual leave. how many days he need to work and his salary issues, THEN, we realized, we made so much wrong moves. omg.
in conclusion, i have to re-do my hr report. dots.

oh yaya! fri Bee Yean, Fiona and i ate at bristro-walk. (i know i went there last fri with yr 1 clique). haha. anyway, Fiona 'gio' us there, and she was apologising non-stops after we left bristro. cox she feels that she had made us spend quite a lot eating there. well, im having this sore throat for almost a week, so eating anything does not have a difference to me. it just hurts. well, we tried the set meal - which is a lot. we didn't finish our food (partly because the sausage was too salty). anyway, it was something nice to try though.
onion soup (i think it looks like coffee, that is oily), and the sausages with creamy mash potatoes
ok, i shall stop here now. I have got com skills and travel's assignment not started yet!! and they are both dued next week.. gosh

today went to help out at the Green Carnival for Clean and Green day.

EXHAUSTED!

we had to report early, at 8am there, and started off by distributing the goodies bag for those brisk-walking. there was very long queue, people were tired and thirsty, so we had to make it fast and smooth for them. but the bags were not very managable. the straps kept tangle together and they were piled up so high. so, we had to pull and pull. less than 15min, im sweating. tiring describes all.

then, Shermaine sent some of us (including Julie fiona and me) to the games booth. ohno. i thought it would be fun. totally not. those aunties can really get on your nerves. urghh. Fiona told me there was one aunty scolding us "brainless" just because Fiona and Julie accidentally gave her games coupon to the person before her. BUT both of them went after the person and managed to get it back for her. well, she didn't thank them and instead they got a scolding from her. then some aunties didn't understand the whole procedures, and complained that we don't know what we are doing, wasting their time - queuing to 'play' these games, and so she had to rush everything because the bus was leaving. they all managed to showcase typical singaporean spirit - kiasu & kiasi. and and, Julie and I were so amazed that there were actually people passing us 3 and more coupons to 'chop' for them for just playing one game. tsktsktsk.

One aunty left a very deep impression to me. She came out of nowhere, pulled my shirt from the side and asked me to 'chop' for her when there was one whole long queue waiting for us. BUt i couldn't ignore her as the motto of the day was, "to make the old people happy." so, i told her have to queue, so many people waiting, cannot be so unfair. later i kana scolded by them. then she blamed me, "my bus is leaving le! i only need one chop more. you make it fast la! don't need to play la... or u help me play, after i leave also can." =="

but fortunately, the indian man who was the next person to play generously allowed her to go first. (so nice of him. i think he also saw that she was slowing the process) so i insisted her to play in the end.

i prefer playing with the kids. friendlier and no communication barrier. lol. those aunties who couldn't speak mandarin or english were really a challenge to us. haha. i could speak a little cantonese, so a few aunties i can handle. but teochew, hokkien were really a tough one. neither julie or fiona can speak too. so we were really trying our best to make a few words to guide them, but most of the time, we gave up. LOL.
haix, i regret not learning from my parents. haha. was such a disgrace man...

p.s. today was raining heavily in the morning! what a FANTASTIC weather to sleep at 6-8am! =((

had a tired and painful start of the week.
had gastric again since sunday. =(
came back home late yesterday; had to attend a meeting for this coming Sunday event..
ate dinner late, and slept 1hr after tt, cox feeling too painful (stomach) and couldn't stand sitting up. so i guess that will add on to my weight. urghh.

today had a frightening afternoon. after tutorial, Judith and i went to lib together with Fiona, Xiu Huan and Kai wei to print some notes for the whole class, then i randomly blurted out tt why time passes by so slowly today? then it caught Judith's attention, so she took out her hp and exclaimed, "WA! NOW 1.35pm le!!" then i got a shock. for a moment, my heart stopped. the clock in eazi print stated 12.15!! that's HUGE difference ok! what if people happily printing notes, and got late for lesson?? mislead people. and the worse part is there's no reception down there, so your friends won't be able to call you and ask where you were.

ok, tt's a bit far fetched. i understand. haha. ok, my point is Judith and i will be late for KSCC!!! and punctuality is the most most important thing and vincent is extremely stict for it.

so we both choing to Eng sch to eat. good enough for us, we spotted an empty table just in front. both of us tried the new stall, thai cuisine. we ate pineapple rice with boneless chicken. it was ok, just tt the rice should have more taste and can use less oil and less fatty chicken...

so when we are done eating, we choing back to bis sch. it was 1.53pm. so judith panicked. she need at least 5min to wear her troublesome shoes. haha. so i peeked in KSCC, and know who i saw? VINCENT! he said he was on leave! cheated our feelings. then he argue and said he didn't tell us he was not going to be around today. he said he told us from the 6th onwards. he was hurt, cox we sounded like we didn't like him to be around. haha. just the opposite man!

so he started the lesson proper after every one was back. so he explained that he is going to do a demo on interview, again. and since last week was judith, he will not choose her agian. lucky her. then he randomly pick one out. then he put back, shaking his head at the same time and said, 'wa. this one cannot. surely cannot." obviously, we know who she was. haha. JINGYI.
so he picked another one. then. i had a bad feeling. while i was telling judith, 'die. why don't choose jingyi?', then vincent shouted,'ok! wanting! come! let's get the ball rolling man!'
DIE!

so die lo....haha... throughout the interview, i anyhow crap. just a few minutes later, the boss arrived! ohno. why am i so unfortunate. first time the boss come, and im sort of the 'spotlight'. haix. so stressed!

so after tt demo, each of us were to write some lines to ans typical qns being asked by the interviewer.

then the role play starts. (we get to be interviewed, and to interview our friends)

valerie was by interviewer. her qns were ok, sort of all prepared. BUT she asked this last qns ''what do you think you can offer to the company?'' i blinked blankly at her, not knowing what to say, so i anyway crap. again. so embarrassing. akward silence.

so vincent told me (after the interview) that never to say 'i think'. must sound confident etc etc...

well, i know i don't sound convincing and confident at all.

after that, i get to interview jerline...
the boss said i did an area pretty good, abt prompting further...

again, Judith make a funny statement today. jingyi interviewed her, and asked her about her previous cca etc. then jingyi said, "so you are the leader in the....?" then judith responded by saying "NO. i didn't say that."

LOL. that was exactly what she said. haha. everyone laughed. but i forgot what jingyi said to bring it over. haha...
then judith told me, she didn't know how to answer her, so let her die lo. instead of she die, since she needs the job.
she was also very slow today. vincent told us to take our notebook to write our notes, everyone left the room to take our bag, but Judith still happily sitting. the when i asked why she not moving, then she realised everyone's out of the room.

after lesson today, vincent told us to take a wet tissue to clean our tables, then while he was passing around the box, Judith stood there like a statue. haha. then vincent said sth like "dear judith. you special ar? why you don't need to work?"

but today we ended late! 6.15pm! price to pay for ending early last week.

p.s. the boss is quite friendly, but he talks at a slow pace. and and he say next week he will be the interviewee! ohno man. pleasedon't kanamefortheinterviewerman! todaysosuayle!
