im very surprised this yr, cox many people whom i din expect to know knew it was my bday, e.g. JS, Jingyi, Valerie, Lina.... thanks ppl!
Not to forget, my dear own brother. haha. he actually remembers! omg. tt's news. HE NEVER DID remember, let alone wishing me Happy birthday and/or buying me presents. haha. this yr, he did. ALL 3 mentioned above. He bought me a new water bottle, a 2009 schdule (which he claims to be very ex) and my birthday cake. His gf came to my house to celebrate my bday too (she was the one who chose and brought it here). I just learnt tt the cake was paid by my brother. omg. what happened to MY bro? this cake, mango pudding from four leaves is nice! no cream... yay! Kaixi-jie made a wise decision. My mother, who normally have only one serving of cakes, ate 2 slices tt day...

suddenly, i feel guilty. my bday is 6 days after my bro's. but my sis and i did not get him anything. opps! well, im trying to convince myself tt i didn't have to, cox he was out with his gf and colleagues tt day (everyday, as a matter of fact) and he's working, but im not. so i do not have the extra money to buy him a present. yes. tt should be the way. hee
anyway, i met up with choon yi and my long time not met friend- HANIF... initially cy wanted me to meet her after sch for dinner. so i waited for her and we proceeded to tm and cs...while shopping, she kept asking me what i wanted to eat for dinner. i thought she was hungry, but i couldn't decide where to eat. at last, we settled for pasta and after a while, she went off, saying that she needs the toilet (with her bag!). so i waited inside. then, while i was messaging, HANIF appeared in front of me! it took me a while before i could think properly. so i turned around and there was choonyi in the queue ordering food. so, she went to meet him just now. then Hanif said "you are supposed to look surprised." haha...well, i didn't think i look surprised, but yes, i was! THANKS for all these - the 'surprise', the present, card and ya, the dinner! lol
we did some serious catching up, bcox somebody said i always don't go online, so they couldn't really contact me... fine! next time im online, i will make sure you ppl notice me. hee...
Well, these 2 ppl said because of me (the meeting up today), they skipped lecture or was late for lecture - i buy it. haha. even though i clearly know it's not the first time. but im touched. =) this pic below is the ONLY successful pic we took, after say, 20 min? i don't know. we just had fun taking and re-taking pic because we couldn't aim well. haha. next time ok? we shall find another person to help us take a decent photo.
Hanif, if you ever sees this, don't get to surprised. cy and i just love disturbing you... hee, maybe she enjoys more than i do. haha... especially now we know you refuse to open ur mouth and smile when we take pic...hee...
