i feel so so tired.
hardly had enough sleep.
had to drag myself out of my bed.
and, had to do so many chores in the office! sigh
what i am doing at work now reminds me very much of the show, Fated to Love You, when Chen Xin Yi is still a post-stick-girl. Everyone gives her things to do, and she could never complete her work. Most of all, she has to run errands (i.e. not in her job scope). Which applies to me now. I had to do photocopying, test ink in the pens (=_="), carry boxes (containing of VERY heavy papers) etc. And, i had even knock my head 3 times because i had crawl all the way under my colleague's desk to take the files out. and apparently, it was loud enough to attract another colleague's attention and she kept asking how i feel... so embarrassed!
but now, i don't know why i feel a bit giddy... too little sleep? or did i really hurt my head? maybe....maybe not...
sigh! i didn't like sitting at the recep. endless stuffs to do.. and most of all, people just conveniently come to the recep and toss you things to do. this is different from people asking for your help. yes, there's a difference - because when you sit at the table, it is part of your tasks. and i realised from yesterday, opening letters (also part of recep's job) sucks! if you open the wrong letter (meaning not supposed to open but you opened it), people scold you. if you don't open the letter for them, they will tell you to open. so irritating! i just hope no one sends me letter from now on!!! urghh!
well, i didn't mean that i had been scolded or anything. i was not. yet.
but i'd opened a letter today and that person told me there was a cheque missing, so i had to dig the dusbin and find all the envelopes and check again. He helped me check too. but we found nothing. so my colleague asked him to call the company and ask them to mail again. He shrugged and said 'that's all i can do now.' then my colleague complained to him that receps will not open letters for them in future, and he said, 'don't be so petty. i did not scold any of you or anything. Did i hurt your feelings?' The last question was direct to me. And i had to say 'no', right? and that makes me 'guilty'. sigh. i can't wait for next week. i would be able to be 'out of office' for two days (all interns are going for a talk at a hotel), and when i come back, i will get be in the office and not at the recep. SIGH...
